Whilst working with these bits of shattered CD, the colours struck me as being quite Scottish and Thistle-esqe. It took a bit of playing and, whilst not anatomically correct, here is my representation of a Scottish Thistle! 'Thistle 1' is on a small 10 cm square canvas set in a larger box frame, while 'Thistle 2' and 'Thistle 3' are on the same size canvas, set in slightly smaller box 15 cm square frames.
